Robert S. Tucker is Chairman of T&M Group, Ltd. and Executive Chairman of its U.S. subsidiary, T&M USA (T&M), a global executive protection, investigations, and consulting firm. For nearly three decades, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s strategy and growth, helping transform T&M from a small security-guarding company into a worldwide organization recognized for its executive protection, investigative, and consulting services. Today, the firm continues to provide comprehensive and discreet solutions that safeguard clients, their assets, and their reputations.

In 2024, Tucker left T&M to serve as the 35th Fire Commissioner of the Fire Department of the City of New York, the largest fire department in the United States. Appointed by the Mayor of New York City, he was selected in recognition of his proven leadership, business acumen, and ability to build strong foundations for collaboration and growth. As one of New York City’s chief risk-management executives, Tucker oversaw the day-to-day operations of one of the nation’s most complex public safety agencies, leading approximately 18,000 employees, including firefighters, paramedics, EMTs, fire marshals, and fire prevention inspectors, while managing a multibillion-dollar budget. During his tenure, he focused on strengthening internal communications, expanding the use of advanced technology, and enhancing strategic planning to address both current and emerging challenges.

Following his return to T&M, Tucker led the firm’s merger with T&M Protection Resources Holdings Israel, Ltd. to form T&M Group, Ltd. In June 2026, Tucker presided over T&M Group’s initial public offering on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. While serving as Chairman of T&M Group, he will continue to oversee the strategic vision and daily operations of T&M.

Tucker earned his Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law. He began his legal career as a prosecutor in the Queens County District Attorney’s Office, where he served for nearly a decade.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Tucker is deeply involved in philanthropy and community leadership. He has served on the boards of the New York City Police Foundation, Pace University, and White Plains Hospital. He currently serves on the boards of the FDNY Foundation and the Gary Sinise Foundation.
